19th Cent. American Literature app for iPhone and iPad

Allows quizbowl players to quickly learn the most common works of 19th-century American literature studied in U.S. schools. An excellent study aid for MS/HS/college classes and for standardized tests like AP™/CLEP™/IB™ exams, especially the AP test in English Language and Literature.

The apps three modes are:

Mode 1: PLAY GAME
Use the autocomplete to select answers. Correct answers climb the Fact Mountain of 19th-century American literature! Clues for each work get easier until answered.

Mode 2: STUDY WORKS
Choose one of the 36 works of 19th-century American literature and study all of its clues, ranked from hardest (30) to easiest (1). Use the hyperlinks for deeper study--and to read them all for free!

Mode 3: USE FLASH CARDS
Select a flash card set, ranked from hardest (30) to easiest (1). Play the game, using only your chosen set of flash cards. Correct answers climb the Fact Mountain of 19th-century American literature!

For most efficient study, we recommend using Mode 3, beginning with flash card set 1. After winning twice, move to flash card set 2, etc. Upon reaching flash card set 5, begin using Mode 1. Use Mode 2 as desired.
